NorthStar Youth Outreach Center | Tubman + MyDefinition.org
NorthStar Youth Outreach Center (NSYOC) is a safe, judgment-free space for youth and young adults up to age 24 to access free resources, such as hygiene products, food, and clothing. NorthStar also connects youth with information about housing, education, employment opportunities, and our community partners.
- NSYOC is staffed by wonderful volunteers who provide advocacy, safety planning, and one-on-one support. Our goal for 2024 is to expand our hours with the support of added volunteers and interns to increase our availability to youth in the community.
- In 2022, NSYOC was open 10 hours per week and served approximately 517 youth in 452 households. These numbers include unaccompanied and/or parenting youth.
